Herzberg50 Exhibit Launch

2021 marked the 50th anniversary of German-Canadian scientist Dr. Gerhard Herzberg’s Nobel Prize in Chemistry.

In celebration of this anniversary, , in collaboration with Heritage Canada, the National Research Council of Canada, University of Saskatchewan, and ESRI Canada, is leading a national commemorative and educational project: .  The exhibit will tell the story of Dr. Herzberg and highlight scientific/technological projects made possible by Canadian and German collaboration. 

The proud home of three winners of the NSERC Gerhard Herzberg Canada Gold Medal for Science and Engineering, ±«Óătv University is one of the locations chosen to host this exhibit on its cross country tour. 

Please join us in kicking off this celebration of Dr. Herzberg’s legacy at a launch event on Tuesday, October 4 at 10:00 a.m. in the atrium of LeMarchant Place.
