Soapbox Science is an organization that aims to create a platform where women and non-binary scientists can share their research and expertise with the public in an engaging and accessible manner. Through live, open-air events, they seek to break down barriers between scientists and the public, fostering dialogue, curiosity, and understanding.Â
The event will be hosted on June 15 from 11:30 - 2:30pm at 1655 Lower Water Street on the Halifax Waterfront. From cutting-edge biomedical research to public health initiatives, these speakers represent the forefront of scientific inquiry in our community.Â
