Research vision and interest

• Dr. Jiang’s research program focuses on improving field crop production and enhancing crop resilience to climate change through sustainable agronomic practices in Atlantic Canada. • Evaluate agronomic and environmental effects of enhanced efficiency fertilizers in grain corn, wheat, and potato production in Maritime Canada. 
• Evaluate agronomic potential of biochar and organic amendments for spring wheat growth in Nova Scotia.
• Improving soil health and the subsequent cash crop production and enhancing land-use efficiency through intercrops with pulses and brassica oilseeds. 
• Evaluation of improved genetics for sustainable cropping practices for cereals, soybeans, and oilseeds in Maritime Canada.
