Frank Kamermans (BEDS’79, BArch’85) of Stewart, BC is the proud owner of a world-class toaster collection. His treasure chest of 1,500 toasters is just part of a much wider collection of antique appliances.
Kamermans, an architecture grad, has a great appreciation for this particular household appliance.
“I just think they’re little architectural sculptures and very simple,” he says. “And they have an amazing number of variations on something that simple.”
