An evening of cinematic music and the music that makes film great - part 1.

Join the ±«Óătv Wind Ensemble (and special guests) for an evening of music inspired by and used in film. With music from Hayao Miyazaki's Princess Mononoke as well as the music of Benjamin Britten used in Wes Anderson's classic Moonrise Kingdom, the evening will be full of whimsy, beautiful melodies, and comical surprises. The ensemble will also perform Johan de Meij's Lord of the Rings Symphony which was written decades before the release of the films, yet similarly as evocative and majestic as the more familiar film score.
