Making Waves ‑ Marine Management Student Research

In December 2016, Master of Marine Management students showcased their graduate research projects at the 10th annual Making Waves event. Members of the MMM class of 2016 undertook internship placements and conducted their research across the globe, in Indonesia, Grenada, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Maldives, United States and across Canada. The wide variety of topics included fisheries management issues, certification of seafood, women’s role in fisheries, marine protected areas, and the law and policy of various shipping related topics. Graduate Projects are now available on the Marine Affairs website.

In addition to showcasing their projects, several students were awarded with Marine Affairs Millennium Prizes. Award Recipients for 2015-2016 were:
