Dr Patrick McConney is a former fisheries manager and has an interdisciplinary PhD in resource management from the University of British Columbia, Canada. His current applied research is mainly on social networks, resilience, social-ecological systems, livelihoods, socio-economics, gender, organisations and governance related to small-scale fisheries and marine protected areas around the Wider Caribbean.
