Emilie Schofield, Swimming
Fourth-year swimmer Emilie Schofield is this week’s female PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.
A team captain, Emilie led the Tigers to victory at the Amby Legere Invitational this weekend. Emilie won all four of her events (200m backstroke, 400m IM, 400m freestyle and 100m backstroke) and was the first swimmer in the pool for the relay team, leading them to out-touch Acadia by two tenths of a second.
A kinesiology student, Emilie is from Miramichi, New Brunswick.
Logan Sparkes, Swimming
Fourth-year swimmer Logan Sparkes is this week’s male PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.
Logan won three individual events this weekend at the Amby Legere (100m freestyle, 400m freestyle and 200m IM) to lead his team to victory. A team captain, Logan also anchored the Tigers relay team, only five minutes after his last individual event, and powered Dal to the win.
Hailing from Agassiz, British Columbia, Logan is a kinesiology student.
