±«Óãtv University will receive $154 million from the Canada First Research Excellence Fund (CFREF) grant program announced today by the Hon. François-Philippe Champagne, Canada’s Minister of Innovation, Science, and Industry, at Concordia University in Montreal.

Convocation is one of the most celebratory times of year at ±«Óãtv University. Not only is it a time to celebrate the accomplishments of our students, it’s also a time to recognize individuals who have demonstrated service to their community and made significant progress in their fields. During this year’s spring convocation ceremonies, ±«Óãtv will present honorary degrees to two extraordinary individuals.

±«Óãtv University congratulates graduates Caleigh Wong (Dipl/BA’22) and Chantel Findlay (BSc’21) for being among 20 Canadian recipients of the McCall MacBain Scholarships, the country’s first comprehensive leadership-based scholarship for master’s and professional studies.

With $5 million in funding from the Canadian Cancer Society, a team of ±«Óãtv researchers will use state-of-the-art technology and patient experience to identify biological markers of risk related to arsenic, radon and air pollution.
