Canadian banks set to rely on artificial intelligence
Canada’s banks are starting to invest heavily in artificial intelligence (AI) to analyzes customer behaviour and predict financial trends. The goal is that these machines would make a number of decisions on things like extending credit to managing risk. Dr. Thomas Trappenberg is available to provide perspective on the benefits and consequences of using AI to make these decisions. He can also discuss whether this technology makes people more vulnerable to having their personal information misused or stolen.
