Maddison graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Sciences from ±«Óãtv University in 2021. Her Honours thesis aimed to quantify the expression of angiotensin-converting enzyme 2, the receptor for viral entry of SARS-CoV-2, in the lungs of patients with Cystic Fibrosis. Maddison completed a Master of Science in the Department of Pharmacology at ±«Óãtv in 2023. Her Master's research identified biomarkers of frailty in the mouse kidney, exploring the impacts of frailty on xenobiotic and endobiotic metabolism. Maddison is continuing to pursue her interest in frailty and aging as a research assistant in the Department of Geriatric Medicine.
