The Dentistry Alumni Committee (DAC) has reimagined Homecoming weekend into DentDays! Alumni were asking for casual, fun gatherings and engaging continuing education. The first DentDays weekend in 2023 was a hit, bringing the dental community together in a big way!

Reinventing alumni Homecoming weekend

The Dentistry Alumni Committee (DAC) traditionally hosted Homecoming weekends with reunions, CE Days, a gala dinner, and awards. After COVID-19 and post-storm disruptions led to cancellations in 2022, the DAC reimagined the event based on alumni feedback. We heard you prefer casual gatherings, independent connections, and continuing education over large formal events. The first DentDays weekend in 2023 was a success, bringing alumni and the dental community together, and it continues to grow each year!

Schedule

DentDays 2025 has a few changes from last year. The Alumni Award Presentations will take place on Thursday evening which allows more time for class dinners on Saturday night.

Reunions

The Dean offers special recognition for the Golden and Silver Grads. Invitations with details to follow. Celebrating in 2025 are:

50th Anniversary for DDS Class of 1975 and DDH Class of 1975 | Gather on Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., for tour and luncheon
25th Anniversary for DDS Class of 2000 and DDH Class of 1975 | Gather on Saturday, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., for tour and luncheon

Reunion groups are invited to schedule a class tour of the clinic, take an official photo, and receive reunion pins, ideally on Friday afternoon before the popular Live@5 Pub event. We’re planning to elevate this event, so stay tuned for exciting updates! Be sure to attend!
