Policies
General accommodation policies
- Final payment is due in at time of booking and any remainder is due upon arrival.
- Full payment is required to secure a room.
- Check-in time is 3 p.m. and check-out time is 10:30 a.m. Additional charges may apply if room is not vacated by 10:30 a.m.
- Minors (18 years or younger) require supervision of a chaperone (19 years or older).
- ±«Óătv University reserves the right to refuse accommodations to minors.
- ±«Óătv University is a non-smoking environment.
- ±«Óătv University is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen property.
- Pets are not permitted in residence facilities with the exception of working animals.
- Due to fire regulations, cots, cribs and air mattresses are not permitted in residence rooms.
- Children over the age of 10 must have their own bed.
- ±«Óătv University reserves the right to change or cancel your accommodation reservation by providing written notice no later than 5 days in advance of your arrival date. If your reservation is changed, should the alternative accommodations be unsatisfactory, you may cancel your reservation and ±«Óătv University will refund your monies paid in advance, if applicable.
- In the event of a circumstance beyond the reasonable control of ±«Óătv University (such as any strike or other labour difficulty, fire, storm, flood, etc.), ±«Óătv University reserves the right to cancel your booking without notice and without compensation.
Group accommodation policies
- All group bookings must be confirmed with a required deposit and a signed contract issued by Event & Conference Services.
- The minimum chaperone-to-minor ratio is 1:8.
- Cancellation notice must be provided within 90 days (depending on arrangements with Conference Services) prior to the date of arrival or a fee for the group will be charged to the client.
