±«Óătv University’s campuses will celebrate International Education Week next week (Nov. 2-6th), focusing on a theme of “Our Global Community.”
The Agricultural Campus' International Office has prepared a schedule of events focused on opportunities to bring together members of our campus community to share perspectives, traditions and their “education story” with the intention of providing venues for fostering stronger community building.
We are especially hopeful that the schedule will offer opportunities for segments of our campus community that often do not come together to find an event of common interest and strike up a connection.
Highlights of the week include:
·        Rajma Cooking Tutorial with Accompanying Learning Resources on Plant Based Ingredients (Monday, Nov. 2)
·        Information Session on ANSC 3007: African Wildlife Ecology (Tuesday, Nov. 3)
·        Global Community Expo to celebrate our students’ international connections (Friday, Nov 6)
·        Lunchtime Speaker Series w/featured lunch entrees in Jenkins—a number of our newer faculty members who have joined us from abroad will be sharing their “personal education story” and how they came to be a part of our community (All Week)
I encourage you to attend any activities of interest, and where appropriate to share the details of the schedule wider within our campus community (with colleagues, students, etc.).
