"Our hope is that you take a small break and learn a few tips that can help you mange the stress leading up to final exams,"explained Monica Sani, Student Success Coordinator.
The sessions will take place in Cox Foyer from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on November 30th, 2016.Ìý
Mindful Relaxation: The quickest and most effective way to eliminate feelings of stress and panic is to close your eyes, focus and take several long, slow deep breaths.Ìý Breathing in this way calms your whole nervous system.Ìý Exam time is stressful for everyone. Give yourself a break and join Dr. Kathleen Kevany for Mindful Relaxation Techniques on November 30th, during Stress Management Day, in Cox 263 at 10:15-10:30 and 1:15-2:00.Ìý Ìý
Brain food:Ìý The right diets can give you energy and improve alertness.Ìý Come out and try some brain food and learn more from our Peer Educators on what food and drink can aid in your exam preparation
Brain Massage: Did you know that classical music can lower heart rate, lower blood pressure and even decrease levels of stress hormones? Come take a seat and put on a pair of headphones to massage the brain.
