Architecture Co‑op Employment

An Architecture work term involves the co-operation of several people and offices: the SITE Co-op Office (which administers co-op placements), the work term instructor (who prepares and evaluates the work term assignments), the School's Professional Practice Group (which assesses and approves jobs), an employer (who provides the work), and yourself. Others provide assistance but you are responsible for obtaining a job, submitting it for approval, completing the assignments, and obtaining your employer's evaluation.

Various types of positions are acceptable for a work term. This depends on the type of work and the qualifications of the supervisor. To understand the options, you can download . To understand the co-op work term from an employer's standpoint, see For Architecture Employers.
