Gabrielle Bardall

Gabrielle Bardall is an adjunct Professor of Political Science specializing in comparative politics. She has worked in over 60 countries worldwide for a variety of UN agencies, bilateral foreign affairs and international non-profits including as a Senior Policy Advisor for Global Affairs Canada and Vice-President for External Relations with the Parliamentary Center of Canada. Bardall holds degrees from McGill University (BAH), Sciences-Po Paris (MA) and l’Université de Montreal (PhD). She is founder and principal of Herizon Democracy Consulting and Visiting Professor with the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Ottawa. Bardall’s media presence includes analyses on BBC World and The Conversation, as well as The Washington Post, CNN International and Le Devoir. She received the American Political Science Association’s Congressional Fellowship and the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Doctoral Scholarship for her work in the area of gendered political violence.
