Research Interests:
Dr. Peter Arthur is Associate Professor of Political Science and International Development Studies.ÌęHis research interests focuses on sub-Saharan Africa, with emphasis on the contribution of small-scale enterprises, electoral politics in Ghana, capacity development and post-conflict reconstruction, the governance of oil, and natural resources management.
Dr. Arthur's work has been published in a number of edited volumes and journals, including Africa Today, African Studies Review, Commonwealth and Comparative Politics, and Journal of Contemporary African Studies. He may be contacted by email at: pathur@dal.caÌęÌę
