We areÌýalready Atlantic Canada’s largest centreÌýfor technology education and research, but this movement will help us attract new talent. Over the next five years, we will grow overall enrolment to 2,500 students,Ìýwith over 400 Computer Science undergraduates graduating per year,Ìýin addition to research and professionalÌýMastersÌýstudents, many of whom will be looking for employment in our province and region.
We currently employÌý50 faculty and research experts, including five Canada Research Chairs.Ìý will help us add 50 more faculty and researchers over the next five years, including more research chairs in key interdisciplinary areas of focus such as Agriculture, Management and Health.
