Dal CPE is excited to announce a 2025 Spring Refresher program. This event series focuses on timely and relevant topics for pharmacy workforce development in the Maritimes.听
Saturday, March 29 for a full day of accredited training.
The morning will feature presentations on*:
- Breathe Easy: Clearing the Air around Acute Sinusitis听
- The Vax Facts: Protecting Against Measles, Mumps, Meningitis, and Pertussis听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 One Shot At A Time!听
- Interpreting and Managing Complex and Incidental Laboratory Findings听

The afternoon offers hands-on training on new scope of practice authorities. Participants will select from workshops on:
- The STREP guide: STReamlining Evaluation of sore throat by Pharmacists
- PrEPared for Anything: Clinical Assessment Essentials for HIV PrEP, Chlamydia听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听and Gonorrhea听
- Preceptor and Educational Development Session

Spring Refresher 2025

Spring Refresher Pediatric Injection Training Stream:
A Pediatric Injection Training Program (PITP) Stream will be offered with limited enrollment. This workshop requires an injection permit and completion of the online competency program. As a bonus, participants will gain access to some of the Refresher's presentations听and workshops for additional CEUs.
