Too many to name. I try to learn from every interaction.
How and where do you find inspiration?
Always inspired and motivated when I am able to hear of the quality improvement initiatives that our program managers and staff are taking on and moving forward. The enthusiasm and drive for change is inspiring. I will give days of my schedule to listen to teams present on their work and how they are moving forward with change. Inspires me to do more.
What values are you committed to?
Be honest. Be open. Be vulnerable. Be brave. Have integrity.
What do you do to live a balanced life?
I mostly think about the things that I should be doing to live a balanced life. And also, try to make time to cook (and eat) good food; exercise; and spend time with friends and family. And laugh; as much as possible.
Why have you volunteered your time to be a mentor?
I have had (and continue to have) great mentors. I know it has made a difference and hope that I am able to give some of that to others. And, selfishly, I learn from good mentees...
