Joy, Phillip (End date: June 30, 2027) - Dr. Joy is a registered dietitian with the Nova Scotia Dietetic Association (NSDA) and an assistant professor at Mount Saint Vincent University. His research interests include the connections between gender and sexuality, and nutrition, health, and wellbeing, specifically within the LGBTQ communities. He often uses arts-based methodologies to explore issues of body image and compassionate care. Contact: phillip.joy@msvu.ca
Steeves. Darren (End date: June 30, 2025) – Strength and physiology coach for Kayak Canada and the Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic. Supervises Kinesiology practicum students and other internship students. Contact: darren@cscatlantic.ca
Thornley, Leo (End date: June 30, 2025) – Director, Sport Science, Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic. Supervises Kinesiology practicum students, other internship students, student volunteer placements, and supervision of independent projects.
