Graduate students in the master's programs at the School of Health and Human Performance are engaged in a range of important research projects that contribute to our understanding of the connections between leisure and health.
MA Health Promotion
In the Master of Arts Health Promotion program, our students are investigating everything from the factors influencing teens' alcohol consumption, to the barriers to health education and health care experienced by women in rural areas.
MA Leisure Studies
In the Master of Arts Leisure Studies program, students have explored a range of topics, from the impact of leisure activities on family members caring for Alzheimer's patients, to how choice of music can enhance the motivation of exercise class participants.
MSc Kinesiology
In the Master of Science Kinesiology program, students have been exploring topics including biomechanical analyses of various movements, to ergonomic evaluations of life jackets.
