Homecoming events kicked off on Friday, September 28th with Ignite: Dal’s gala dinner celebrating Dal's 200th anniversary. It was an informative and inspiring evening that excited our Faculty about future possibilities.
On Saturday morning the President’s Fun Run/Walk was once again dominated by over 250 participants from the Faculty of Health. Our schools and colleges enthusiastically participated in the annual Health Challenge and showed what great spirit our students and alumni have.
Congratulations to the School of Health Sciences who successfully defended their title and took home the trophy and $500 for a School social. Special mention to the School of Health Administration who were the most improved team and narrowly missed upsetting the defending champions.
The College of Pharmacy had a very busy weekend with hosting tours of the Burbidge building for reunion groups, a Continuing Pharmacy Education Refresher course and several reunion receptions. Reunions classes from 1976, 1988 and 1993 held events throughout the weekend and provided a great opportunity to revisit the campus, connect with old classmates and meet faculty members.
