CLINICAL EDUCATION AWARDS CRITERIA
Intent: To recognize a facility or an individual physiotherapist within the Atlantic Provinces who demonstrates excellence in, or makes an outstanding contribution to, the clinical education of students over an extended period.
Criteria include:
- Consistent acceptance of more than the recommended minimum number of students per year (2 per therapist)
- A high level of student satisfaction based on information gathered from the Student Evaluation of Clinical Placement.
- The development, implementation, and evaluation of an innovative supervision model.
- The design and implementation of student in-services/teaching sessions
- The recognition of leadership abilities in the area of clinical education.
Nominations are submitted by students, Clinical Team Leads, Managers, Supervisors, Facility Coordinators and/or Provincial Coordinators to ptclined@dal.ca Ìý
