WELCOME TO THE NEW JAMES R. JOHNSTON CHAIR WEBPAGE

I am the fourth James R. Johnston Chair in Black Canadian Studies. This is the first time that the Chair is in the Faculty of Medicine and I am the first queer person to hold the Chair.

On this website you will find up-to-date information on #JRJChairChats, #WheresTheChair, the JRJ Chair’s twitter feed, and recent articles. Feel free to explore the other pages where you will find my bio, the history of the JRJ Chair and bios on previous Chairs, useful resources on Black Lives Matter in Medicine, and the Black Med Ed Collaborative. And check out the new Black Blog.

Black Blog is live... focusing on Black Studies, Black Med Education, Black Health, Black life, Black research, and Black issues... read more
