Approved External Supervisors
​All professors in the Department of Biology are eligible to serve as Honours supervisors, and are considered internal supervisors. Advanced PhD candidates can be approved to co-supervise an Honours student with a professor from the Department of Biology. Â
The Biology Directory includes the names of people with Adjunct status or are Cross-Appointed Faculty in the Department of Biology. They are external supervisors that are approved to serve as Biology and/or Marine Biology Honours thesis supervisors without the involvement of an internal supervisor. Students can approach these people or seek out new supervisors here at ±«Óãtv or elsewhere. If you are interested in having someone from a different institution supervise your thesis and they are not listed here, they must be approved by the honours committee. Have that person send a copy of his/her CV to the Chair of the Honours Committee for evaluation. Â
