Weekly Seminars

From September to April, we host weekly department seminars most Friday afternoons. These presentations provide opportunities to share research and ideas with our colleagues both from within ±«Óãtv and from around the world. Students and people from other faculties and departments are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Department seminars will be in person for the 2024-2025 academic year unless otherwise advertised.  

The Graham Lectures

The John F. Graham Memorial Lecture is an annual event. The Graham Lecture is  non-technical and suitable for the general public.

2021 ACEA Mini-Conference

In October 2021, Dal economics hosted Atlantic Canada Economics Association Mini-Conference (virtual), organized by several members of the department. A YouTube recording of the conference is available .
