Tigers co-captain Kate MacDonald led the women’s soccer team in scoring this past weekend. A 2008-09 second team all-star, she opened the scoring on Saturday as the Tigers went on to defeat UNB by a score of 2-0. On Sunday, she scored the equalizer late in the game for a 2-2 tie with UdeM. Ms. MacDonald is a fourth-year kinesiology student from Elmsdale, N.S.
Nathan Rogers, soccer
Nathan Rogers is a first-year player with the Tigers men’s soccer team and is already making his mark. A commerce student from Calgary, Alberta, he has played every minute of Dal’s three games and has been a key part of the Tigers defensive stronghold that has allowed only one goal in three games. The Tigers tied 0-0 with UNB this past Saturday and defeated UdeM 3-1 on Sunday.
