All of a sudden, the courtyard in front of the SUB was thumping with music and soon, one by one, students joined the Dal Tiger for a few high-spirited dance numbers.
The students are all members of the ±«Óãtv International Students Association, otherwise known as DISA.
"We want to help international students at ±«Óãtv and to do that we have to let them know we are here," says Meelashini Auaduer, a member of DISA's executive and one of the participants in the flash mob.
DISA's mandate is promote cultural diversity and to offer support to international students so their time at ±«Óãtv is more enjoyable. The society holds several activities throughout the year, giving students far from home a chance to socialize and have fun.
