Even though it's part of a storied tradition, every Dal Convocation season is a little bit different. For example, not every Convocation features , or a flute peformance in lieu of a lengthy honorary doctorate speech.
One of the more unique parts of Convocation is the presentation of an honorary doctorate, the highest honour the university can bestow. This fall ±«Óãtv presented honorary degrees to aviation leader Joseph David Randell, psychology researcher Kenneth Denton Craig and folk musician Christopher Norman.
