Isabel Sarty, Swimming
Second-year swimmer Isabel Sarty is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Female Athlete of the Week.
Isabel led the Tigers to a first-place finish at the Jack Scholz Memorial Swim Meet over the weekend.
She won the 50m, 100m and 200m freestyle events and was a close second in the 50m backstroke. She added three more wins in the mixed relays as well.
She is the first AUS swimmer to set a U SPORTS qualifying time after posting a 26.19 in the 50m freestyle.
A science student, Isabel is from Bedford, N.S.

Tyler Immel-Herron, Swimming
Fourth-year swimmer Tyler Immel-Herron is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Male Athlete of the Week.
Tyler led the Tigers to a first-place finish at the Jack Scholz Memorial Swim Meet over the weekend.
Tyler dominated the 100m and 200m backstroke events, winning both with great in-season times. He also placed second in both the 50m backstroke and the 200m IM.
He also led all three mixed relay teams to victory, earning three more first-place finishes.
A native of Peterborough, Ont., Tyler is a biology student.
