The QS Stars university rating system has awarded ±«Óătv a five-star overall rating after measuring the university’s performance against a pre-determined threshold in a series of categories.

The system features a rating scale of 0 to 5+ Stars overall, based on a rating of 0 to 5 Stars in at least eight of 13 key categories. Performance categories and indicators have been chosen based on global standards and best practices.

±«Óătv received a five-star rating in each of the eight categories the university selected for data submission.

The university’s top scoring categories are innovation, facilities, inclusiveness, employability and research. In the innovation category, for example, ±«Óătv received full points in all the performance indicators: number of patents, established spin-off companies, industrial research collaborations and having an active business incubator.

Used by many prospective international students, the assessment provides an international standard of comparison that differs from rankings as it is independent of the performance of other institutions.

QS Stars is an opt-in program of Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), producer of the QS World University Ranking (WUR) — a major international ranking that recently placed ±«Óătv among the top 272 universities in the world.
