Reagan Crowell from the ±«Óãtv Tigers women's swim team and Noah Mascoll-Gomes from the Tigers men's swim team have been named the Subway AUS Athletes of the Week for their respective performances for this past week.

Reagan Crowell of the ±«Óãtv Tigers women’s swim team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport women’s athlete of the week for the week ending Feb. 12, 2023.
A fourth-year psychology student from Lakeville, N.B., Crowell was named Subway Swimmer of the Meet at the Subway AUS Swimming Championships held this past weekend in St. John’s, N.L.
She led the Tigers to their 21st consecutive AUS championship title with six gold and one silver medal over the weekend.
She won all four of her individual events, taking gold in the 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m freestyle races. She was also the fastest split on the ±«Óãtv relay teams that won gold in the 400m and 800m freestyle relays. In addition to her six gold medals, she added a silver as a member of the Tigers 400m medley relay team.
In addition to earning Swimmer of the Meet honours, Crowell was also named the 2023 AUS Swimmer of the Year in women’s swimming for her efforts this season.

Noah Mascoll-Gomes of the ±«Óãtv Tigers men’s swim team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport men’s athlete of the week for the week ending Feb. 12, 2023.
A fourth-year commerce student from St. John’s, Antigua, Mascoll Gomes was named Subway Swimmer of the Meet at the Subway AUS Swimming Championships hosted this past weekend by Memorial.
He led the Tigers to their 23rd AUS championship title in 24 seasons with four gold and three silver medals.
He won all four of his individual events including the 50m, 100m, 200m and 400m freestyle. He was also the fastest split on all three of the Tigers’ silver medal-winning relays.
Mascoll-Gomes also tied the current AUS and ±«Óãtv 100m freestyle record as the lead leg in the men’s 400m freestyle relay.
