Championship season was well underway this weekend with five Tigers teams competing for conference titles and the swimming teams were racing for national medals.
Track and Field
The men’s and women’s track and field teams were in Saint John this weekend looking to defend their AUS titles. Both were successful with the women’s team winning their 33rd AUS title in a row, the longest known streak in any sport in U SPORTS.

Swimming
The women’s and men’s swimming teams were in Victoria, BC for the U SPORTS national championship. A successful weekend saw several athlete race personal-best times. The women’s team finished in eighth in the team standings and the men 13th.

Women’s Volleyball
The Tigers host the UNB REDS in the AUS semifinals best-of-three series this weekend. Lucy Glen-Carter led the Tigers to two quick 3-0 victories to move on to the final. They will be hosting Acadia this weekend in a best-of-three series.
Men’s Volleyball
The men’s volleyball team returned to the RSEQ playoffs for the first time since 2018-19, heading to Sherbrooke to play a best-of-three semifinal series. The Tigers came up short, losing both games 3-0.
Men’s Basketball
The three-time defending AUS champions men’s basketball team looked to make it four straight this weekend. After dismantling Memorial in the quarter-final on Friday, the Tigers fell to the UPEI Panthers on Saturday, ending their season.
