How it’s calculated
QS uses a variable approach to the weightings for each of the different subjects. Included in the assessment are the results from the annual QS Academic Reputation and Employer Reputation surveys, measurement of International Research Network, citation data from Elsevier and Scopus, and the h-index, which measures the impact and quality of published works.Â
Earth & Marine Sciences continued as ±«Óãtv’s best performing subject based on Academic Reputation. Marketing, new to the ranking this year, was the university’s top subject based on Employer Reputation.Â
The subject of Medicine led the university in citations per paper. Pharmacy & Pharmacology received ±«Óãtv’s highest score in h-index. And the subject of Agriculture & Forestry earned Dal’s highest score for International Research Network.
