CONCEPTS IN CHEMISTRY I

WORK ASSIGNMENT:
The Instructor is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the specified class: Â holding tutorials; holding office hours; preparing and grading assignments; tests and exams, and assisting with the laboratory component. Â This position reports to the Chair of the Department.
REQUIREMENTS:
MSc in Chemistry or equivalent; PhD preferred; previous teaching experience in chemistry

ORGANIC CHEMISTRY I LAB
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION:
Department of Chemistry
PAY RATE:
As per CUPE 3912 Agreement
WORK ASSIGNMENT:
The Instructor is responsible for all aspects of coordinating, teaching and maintaining the respective laboratory programs.  This includes setting up the experiments, supervising TA’s, giving weekly TA workshops, ensuring the fair grading of laboratory reports, ensuring Chemistry Stores provides solutions in a timely fashion and maintaining the laboratory grades.  In addition, the Instructor is expected to hold daily office hours.  This position reports directly to the Chair of the Department of Chemistry.

MSc in Chemistry or equivalent; PhD preferred; previous teaching experience in chemistry
