The Rowe School of Business invites applications for a probationary tenure-track, tenure-track or tenured appointment in Management Information Systems at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (dependent upon qualifications and experience) commencing January 1, 2014 (negotiable). Applicants must have a PhD (or be ABD) in a relevant discipline, and must have a business degree. Evidence of teaching effectiveness and research performance or potential is required. Candidates must be able to meet the School’s accrediting body’s (AACSB) academic qualification requirements.
The successful applicant will be expected to engage in leading-edge research in Management Information Systems, to teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and to contribute to the academic life of the School through committee service and other activities. The applicant will be expected to be able to teach Business Intelligence/Analytics and at least two of the following courses: Databases/Data-Warehouses, Systems Analysis and Design, IT Project Management, Mobile Application Development, and Logistics/Supply Chain Management. Recent experience teaching with SAP will be considered an asset.

The Rowe School of Business invites applications for a probationary tenure-track, tenure-track or tenured appointment in Family Business at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (dependent upon qualifications and experience), commencing January 1, 2014 (negotiable).
The successful candidate will have a PhD (or be ABD) in Family Business, Management, Strategy, or a similar discipline, and will be expected to engage in leading edge research in Family Business. He/she will teach in his/her area of expertise at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and will be expected to contribute to the academic life of the School. Working collaboratively with the Director of the Centre for Family Business and Regional Prosperity, he/she will be an academic champion of the Centre, contributing to its education, research and outreach mandates.
Evidence of teaching effectiveness at the university level is essential, as is demonstrated research performance appropriate to the rank of the candidate. Additional expertise in a related field of management, such as leadership or managing organizational change, would be an asset. Candidates must be able to meet the School’s accrediting body’s (AACSB) academic qualification requirements.
