WORK ASSIGNMENT:Ìý The part-time academic will be responsible for History 3551.03D, a third-year class conducted in the 2014 Summer Session, May 5-28, 2014, which explores Topics in Modern History (Summer 2014 Topic:Ìý Body of Evidence:Ìý The History of Forensic Science and Medicine).Ìý Class is currently scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 18:05-20:25.Ìý The part-time academic is responsible for all aspects of teaching, grading and administration of the class and in addition is to be available for two hours per week outside class times for student consultation. The part-time academic reports to the Chair of the Department.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:Ìý Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in History or be registered in a Ph.D. programme.Ìý Experience teaching undergraduate courses in the history of science and medicine is essential, and preference will be given to those whose teaching experience has focused on the history of forensics.Ìý Interested parties are asked to apply by hand-delivered letter or FAX (supported with a C.V.) to the following:

The part-time academic reports to the Chair of the Department.
