Using your health spending account for premiums paid

If you have the health spending account you can apply the medical and dental premiums you pay to your health spending account for reimbursement.

In order to claim your medical and dental premiums for the HSA you must first login to and access the Web for Employees portal.

Once there, click on the link to Benefits and Deductions, followed by Health and Dental Insurance and then under the Health and /or Dental (you will have to follow the same process for each benefit you are looking to claim) plan select Contributions/Deductions. In this screen you can indicate the plan year of July 2013 to June 2014 and print the display.

Please note you can only claim for the premiums you have paid up to date. Attach this information to the health spending account claim and submit to Blue Cross for reimbursement.
