Think that spirituality is all about religion? Or is “fluffy” stuff that has no place at work? Well, the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University established a in 2004. They facilitate the exploration of people using their work to find meaning in life and how we can nurture empathy and compassion in the workplace. They sponsored a “Spirit at Work” video contest. and expand your view of how spirit and work come together.
Working at a University provides a strong sense of purpose for many, where meaning, contribution, and service to others form the foundation of ±«Óătv as a place to work. Dal employees find fulfillment, purpose and belonging in many ways, including volunteering their time and energy, raising money for charity, practicing yoga or meditation, and living by a strong sense of positive personal values.
