From last Friday's Chronicle Herald:
The green roof isn’t quite green yet, but the paint has dried and students have moved into the newest residence at ±«Óătv University.
LeMarchant Place, a new 165,000-square-foot building at the corner of South and LeMarchant streets, officially opened its doors on Thursday.
The seven-storey structure has 143 residential units, accommodates 326 students and also houses various student services, including an international centre, a health clinic and counselling offices.
“It’s marvellous, particularly the views of Wickwire Field,” said ±«Óătv president Richard Florizone during the opening.
“For those of you who aren’t students, I’ll tell you, it’ll make you want to be a student again.
“The goal of the building is really about weaving together all the strands of Dal student experience to better support our students and make them more successful.”
