Pedestrian and vehicle traffic on LeMarchant Street, between University Avenue and South Street, will be affected by construction work required to complete the green roof areas on level 3 of the new LeMarchant Place facility. This work begins on Friday, September 12th and is expected to continue for 1 week, weather permitting, as required in order to accommodate hoisting equipment and activity.
Partial lane closures and disruption to pedestrian traffic on the sidewalk can be expected. Appropriate fencing, signage, and traffic control personnel will be present to ensure smooth traffic flows. Barriers will be removed immediately once hoisting work is complete and normal access will resume.
For any issues that may arise during the course of this work, please contact the on-site managers with Aecon Buildings Atlantic: Dave Patriquin at 902-240-3956, or Dylan Cheek at 902-921-4012.
