±«Óătv is a community where everyone has a shared responsibility for establishing and maintaining a climate of respect and to help community members navigate support systems available both on and off campus. Members of the ±«Óătv community may be in a position where someone has confided in them and is looking for supports/referrals, or may be seeking support on their own behalf.Ěý Listed below are some resources that may be of help.

The Office of Human Rights, Equity & Harassment Prevention (HREHP) has developed a “Where to Go for Help” pamphlet which is posted in washrooms in both Halifax/Truro campus’ and is also available at . The pamphlet is a comprehensive listing of services, supports and contact numbers both on and off campus.
HREHP has also developed Sexual Assault Response Guidelines for the ±«Óătv Community in Halifax and Truro. The guidelines offer information as to how to best support someone who has been sexually assaulted, and provides advice on reporting options as well as information referrals. That information, along with other resources is also available on line at .
For students, ±«Óătv Counselling and Psychological Services also provides free professional counselling for a wide range of concerns. Student Health Services is also available for medical care and counseling. for more information.
