Salary: To be negotiated in the range of $28,000 to $38,000 according to qualifications and experience
Research Assistant: We seek an individual to manage our animal breeding colony, to arrange for and monitor special rearing procedures, to assist and sometimes conduct behavioural testing of visual functions and various and/or neuroanatomical procedures. Applicants must not have a history of allergies to animals and must enjoy their company. This is a full-time position that may require flexibility to switch weekday work hours for occasional work on weekend.
Qualifications: A bachelors degree in Science is required, a masters degree is preferred but not necessary. Proficiency with computer software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and basic graphic presentation is strongly preferred.
