POSITION #1:Â Â Â Part-Time Academic, Winter Term, 2015/2016 Academic Year
WORK ASSIGNMENT: The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for a second-year class, Social Psychology (PSYO 2080.03), in the Winter Term. The class will be offered on MW 1535-1655, and the anticipated class size will be approximately 150 students. The successful applicant will be responsible for all lecture and test preparations, exam administration (including supplemental examinations), and must be available for two hours per week for student consultation. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.
POSITION #2:Â Â Â Part-Time Academic, Winter Term, 2015/2016 Academic Year
WORK ASSIGNMENT: The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for a second-year class, Developmental Psychology (PSYO 2090.03), in the Winter Term. The class will be offered on TR 0835-0955, and the anticipated class size will be approximately 150-175 students. The successful applicant will be responsible for all lecture and test preparations, exam administration (including supplemental examinations), and must be available for two hours per week for student consultation. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.
POSITION #3:Â Â Â Part-Time Academic, Winter Term, 2015/2016 Academic Year
WORK ASSIGNMENT: The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for a third-year class, Social Cognition (PSYO 3084.03), in the Winter term. The class will be offered on TR 1305-1425, and the anticipated class size will be approximately 50 students. The successful applicant will be responsible for all lecture and test preparations, exam administration (including supplemental examinations), and must be available for two hours per week for student consultation. A 90-hr Marker is provided for this class. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.
POSITION #4:Â Â Â Part-Time Academic, Fall Term, 2015/2016 Academic Year
WORK ASSIGNMENT: The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for a third-year class, Hormones and Behaviour (PSYO/NESC 3170.03), in the Fall Term. The class will be offered on MWF 0935-1025, and the anticipated class size will be approximately 100 students. The successful applicant will be responsible for all lecture and test preparations, exam administration (including supplemental examinations), and must be available for two hours per week for student consultation. A CUPE Marker is provided for this class. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITIONS: Applicants must have a graduate degree in Psychology, demonstrated teaching effectiveness, and have previous experience teaching the class material.
