POSITION: Part-Time Academic, Winter Term, 2015/16 Academic Year
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Department of Psychology and Neuroscience, Life Sciences Centre
PAY RATE: As per CUPE Collective Agreement
WORK ASSIGNMENT: The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for a fourth-year Honours seminar, Topics in Clinical Psychology (PSYO 4120.03), in the Winter Term. The class will be offered on Mondays, 0935-1125, and the anticipated class size will be approximately 12 students. The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for organizing and conducting seminar sessions, and marking seminar submissions of students. The Instructor must be available for two hours per week for student consultation. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Applicants must have a graduate degree in Psychology, demonstrated teaching effectiveness, and have previous experience teaching the class material.
