Microsoft released the latest version of Windows (Windows 10) on July 29th, 2015.
ITS recommends that you don’t upgrade to Windows 10 until such time as we are able to fully test supported third-party software (e.g. SPSS, SAS, Banner, BbLearn, Novell) and IT management tools (e.g. McAfee, VPN Client) for compatibility.
To date the following programs have been reported as being incompatible with Windows 10:
·        Novell (for those storing files on Novell Servers)
·        McAfee
·        Cisco VPN client (required for access from off-campus to certain products such as Banner or Famis)
·        Banner INB does not work with Edge (the default Browser in Windows 10)
Further updates will be provided as the product continues to be tested. In the interim, if you wish to remove the “Upgrade to Windows 10” icon from your computer,
