There will be a planned steam shutdown on all Halifax campuses (including Kings and the NRC) on Saturday, August 19 from 9 a.m. until 3 a.m., Sunday August 20.

This work is required to conduct repairs on our central steam distribution system to provide reliable steam service in the future.

This will affect all steam heat and some areas where the domestic hot water is serviced by steam including equipment such as:

Equipment that will be affected includes:

Autoclaves

Sterilizers

Cage Washers

Dishwashers
