Position:Â Part-Time Academic
Department/Location:Â Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology
Pay Rate: In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement
Work Assignment:
The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for teaching of SOSA 1002.03, People and Culture: Introduction to Social Anthropology, Tuesdays 1735-2025 (Fall Term 2018/2019). The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation, evaluation and electronic submission of grades. The instructor is required to be available two hours per week for consultation with students. The instructor reports to the Chair of the Department.
Requirements of Position:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Applicants should possess a PhD in Social Anthropology or Sociology, or have University level experience teaching and/or research directly in the subject area.

The instructor is required to be available two hours per week for consultation with students. The instructor reports to the Chair of the Department.
